We have been established since 1985

The Happy Brewer was established in August 1985 by Melvyn and Shirley Spencer, keen brewers since the early 1970s. It has been trading at the same premises in Union Street, Bedford since then.

In January 2010 The Happy Brewer was taken over by Stephen and Dawn Black. Stephen has been brewing for some 26 years and has an extensive knowledge of products, availability, suppliers and solutions to all brewing and wine making problems. Dawn has a 27 year extensive, wide-ranging and worldwide buying knowledge which enables The Happy Brewer to offer exceptional and superior products to our customers at very competitive prices.
